Chris Sparks is a lifelong fan of the comic medium and the cofounder of Team Cul de Sac. Chris was the driving force and editor of Team Cul de Sac: Cartoonists Draws the Line at Parkinson’s, a book that was nominated for an Eisner and four Harvey Awards. Sparks won the 2013 Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award for his work on the Team Cul de Sac Project which raises money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research. Between book sales, art auctions and drink & draws, Team Cul de Sac has raised over 300 thousand dollars for research.
Chris still lives in his hometown of Asheville, NC.
