CONx = Community. Ontology. Noetics. CONx is our chance to hear directly from our guests about their passion, vision, and research. It is a short-set style lecture series where we will highlight our guests’ respective missions. Guests will include comic book creators, psychologists, philosophers, community leaders, religious scholars, experts in social justice and sustainability, Navy SEALS, and so many more! And don’t forget to enjoy a delicious beer from one of our amazing local breweries during the show. Get informed and inspired at Beer City CONx!


Join BCCC’s very first CONx for a one-of-a-kind lecture series featuring some of the brightest minds of today. Featuring a panel of regional, local, and nationally acclaimed experts, guests should be prepared to hear insightful and inspiring stories that detail years of passion, vision, and research conducted by top experts in their respective fields. Featured speakers include:

  • Brett McCall of Better Than Unicorns: A virtual reality expert.
  • Johnny Shields of Johnny Shields Productions, Beer City Comic Con.
  • Mark Russell: Comic book author and artist.
  • Rich Diviney: Navy SEAL, author, and expert in leadership and human performance.
  • Donald Robertson: Cognitive behavioral psychotherapist, author, and stoicism expert. 
  • Bruce Waller: Business owner, and personal chief marketing operator. 
  • Dr. Raymond Turpin: Psychologist and certified in alternative psychedelic therapy and research specialist.  
  • Stephanie Williams: Comic book author and artist. 
  • Chief Richard Sneed: Principal chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. 
  • Donna Glee Williams: Fantasy author, dream worker, and creative coach. 
  • Lynn Morgan Rosser: Musician and founder of The Complete Caregiver.

Each speaker will have the chance to give a talk about their work, research, passion, and thoughts on a variety of subjects such as social justice, psychedelic therapy, leadership, sustainability, philosophy, technology, art, and music.
